Uganda Tourism Board joins World Travel & Tourism Council as destination partner | News


The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is pleased to welcome Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) as a destination partner.

The Uganda Tourism Board is the government agency mandated to promote and market Uganda as a preferred tourist destination. In addition to destination marketing, UTB plays a central role in developing, coordinating and regulating the tourism sector, supporting product development and increasing Uganda’s global competitiveness.

Headquartered in Kampala, Uganda’s capital and commercial hub, UTB works with regional tourism clusters and local stakeholders across the country to promote Uganda’s diverse attractions, including its renowned wildlife, rich cultural heritage, adventure experiences and community-based tourism. Internationally, UTB is involved in strategic partnerships, trade fairs and global campaigns to position Uganda on the world stage.
