Kempinski Residences in Masar, Mecca offer unparalleled hospitality | News

Kempinski Group, Europe’s oldest luxury hospitality company, today announced Kempinski Residences in Masar, Makkah, the first branded residential project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project, developed by Umm Al Qura for Development & Construction Company, the owner, developer and operator of the Masar destination in the Holy City of Makkah, brings Kempinski’s 150-year legacy of luxury hospitality to the prestigious Masar development, in the heart of Makkah, near the Grand Mosque.

In Munich, a signing ceremony took place at the Kempinski Group offices, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations, including Yasser Abuateek, CEO of Umm Al Qura for Development & Construction and Barbara Muckermann, CEO of Kempinski Group, reflecting the increasing presence of major international brands destined for the Masar development.

The Kempinski Residences in Masar, Makkah, is considered an iconic address that offers spiritual connectivity, investment security and long-term value appreciation. When completed, the project will offer an unparalleled blend of luxury, exclusivity and world-class hospitality for discerning residents. Facilities include premium five-star amenities such as private executive lounges, a Boulevard Café, a luxurious wellness center and signature dining, as well as dedicated concierge and valet services, all delivered to Kempinski’s impeccable standards.

The brand homes will be further distinguished by the quality of the interiors, which include hand-selected materials, bespoke finishes and refined aesthetics, as well as a wide range of smart home features and modern conveniences. With 302 residential units of varying sizes and flexible ownership options, the project represents an important addition to the high-quality residential offering within the Masar destination. The homes will form part of a wider mixed-use development that will include a Kempinski hotel and a retail component, and will be the epitome of sophisticated urban living in the sought-after neighbourhood.
Kempinski Group was founded on the simple but enduring belief: that hospitality should enable guests to experience ‘The Good Life’. Since its origins, Kempinski has defined luxury not as status or formality, but as generosity and joy, qualities that will contribute significantly to the experience of visitors and residents at the new destination, supporting spiritual connectivity and cultural appreciation.
