SINGAPORE AIRLINES DOUBLE DEALS FROM LONDON GATWICK | News

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is increasing the number of flights from London Gatwick to Singapore to double per day from today until August 29, 2026, before resuming double daily service from October 25, 2026. This offers even more choice and connectivity for customers, as well as seamless connections to popular holiday destinations such as Bali, Thailand, New Zealand and seven gateways in Australia.

To celebrate, and continuing this dual theme, Singapore Airlines has collaborated with British artist and illustrator Lydia Leith to create exclusive Snap playing cards, the perfect flight and holiday companion, designed for little travelers. The cards feature cute illustrations of animals from destinations within the airline’s network and can be used for a classic Snap game with two players, or a memory game for one. Designed to spark the imagination, encourage quick thinking and inspire little explorers to discover the world around them, the deck will be available exclusively to customers flying from London Gatwick from mid-July 2026, while supplies last.

SQ309 and SQ313 operate on the Airbus A350-900 long-haul aircraft, which is configured with 253 seats (42 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class and 187 in Economy Class). The double daily London Gatwick service will complement the airline’s existing four daily flights from London Heathrow and five times weekly flights from Manchester. SIA will offer up to 45 direct flights per week from the UK to Singapore this summer, more than any other airline operating from the region.

Between September 1 and October 24, 2026, SQ313 will return to three flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. During this period, daily flights will be increased to ten flights per week, after which double daily flights will resume from October 25, 2026.

Mohamed Rafi Mar, Singapore Airlines General Manager UK & Ireland, said: “We are excited to launch our double daily service from London Gatwick this summer, giving customers more choice of flights to Singapore and seamless connections from our hub at Changi Airport. On board, customers can enjoy our world-class hospitality and award-winning service, with the addition this summer of our Snap playing cards for the little ones.”

The London Gatwick service launched on 22 June 2024 with a service five times a week. Due to its popularity, the operation quickly grew to a daily service nine months later.

Business Class customers, as well as PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members departing from London Gatwick, have access to the No1 Lounge, located at Gatwick North Terminal. Customers can enjoy complimentary freshly prepared hot food, snacks and sweet treats, and a selection of drinks including premium beer, wine, sparkling wines, champagne and spirits in the full service bar. There is also free WiFi, wheelchair accessible toilets, meeting rooms and printing facilities.

On board, customers in Business Class can also enjoy a gourmet dinner menu from Singapore Airlines guest chef Monica Galetti, and customers in all cabins can enjoy a limited-edition Monica Galetti dessert.

Customers can sit back and enjoy world-class service, an award-winning wine collection, gourmet cuisine and free onboard Wi-Fi as a KrisFlyer member.
