The opening marks the final stage of the lodge’s transformation following its major renovation in 2023 and reflects the growing demand for luxury private villa-style accommodation in Namibia. Named Ombala, meaning ‘The King’s Palace’ in the local Oshiwambo language, the suite is Mokuti Etosha’s most significant addition to date and one of the most versatile luxury offerings in the region, combining family-friendly flexibility with increased comfort for a wide range of travelers.
Spanning 88 square meters, the Ombala Presidential Suite is a fully detached villa within the grounds of the lodge, complete with its own private pool, outdoor shower and covered sidewalk.
