JetBlue and Barclays Introduce Enhanced Benefits, Now Available to Premier Cardholders | News

JetBlue today launched its new and improved benefits for the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard®, issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank, bringing together the most valuable and differentiated travel benefits into a more valuable card experience. Cardholders get access to new statement credits, accelerated Mosaic status and expanded travel rewards, all while maintaining the same annual rate.

Starting today, customers can apply for the JetBlue Premier Card and, if approved, unlock a limited-time offer of 100,000 TrueBlue points after spending $5,000 and paying the annual fee in the first three months. TrueBlue points can be redeemed for JetBlue flights, travel on partner airlines and travel purchases through TrueBlue Travel™, allowing cardholders to turn their everyday purchases into their next getaway.

“At a time when many travel cards are increasing costs or reducing benefits, we are focused on delivering greater value to our customers,” said Ed Pouthier, vice president of loyalty and personalization at JetBlue. “Our redesigned Premier Card brings together the most valuable elements of the JetBlue and TrueBlue experience by combining the benefits our customers already love with new enhancements to create an even better travel experience, all without increasing the annual fee.”

Starting today, Premier cardholders can now enjoy the following new and improved benefits:

JetBlue Premier Companion Pass Statement Credits: Traveling together is better. Cardholders can earn a companion pass (up to a $500 value) after spending $15,000 in a calendar year and unlock an additional companion pass (up to a $1,500 value) after spending $75,000 annually. Simply book and pay for your companion’s trip during your reservation, then apply the pass and receive a credit after you’ve both traveled.
25 tile bonus: Get an edge in status. Cardholders will receive a bonus of 25 tiles after the start of each calendar year, taking them halfway through Mosaic 1 and its associated premium benefits.
TrueBlue Travel Statement Credits: Get more out of every trip beyond flight. Cardholders can earn up to $300 in annual statement credits for every dollar spent on eligible TrueBlue Travel purchases when using the card for hotels, car rentals, cruises and more, making it easier for cardholders to earn and use this benefit. Each qualifying purchase must be $1 or more, less returns and credits, to receive this benefit.
15% redemption discount: Make your points go further. Cardholders receive 15% off their TrueBlue® points when redeeming award flights, regardless of whether they fly on JetBlue or partner airlines.
The JetBlue Premier Card continues to offer these enhanced benefits at an unchanged annual fee of $499 (and $150 for each authorized user). These updates reinforce JetBlue’s continued investments in its co-branded credit card portfolio to give customers the opportunity to earn rewards faster and enjoy a more premium travel experience.
