Jet2 announces another new summer destination for 2027 from Leeds Bradford Airport | News

Just a week after announcing the launch of two stunning brand new and exclusive summer destinations for 2027 from Leeds Bradford Airport, British consumer champion Jet2 today has another new summer favorite on offer.
Yorkshire’s leading leisure airline and tour operator has put flights and holidays on sale to Tivat in Montenegro, giving customers and independent travel agents direct access to the destination that has everything from golden beaches and cool bars to whitewashed villages and rugged national parks.
Jet2 is giving holidaymakers the opportunity to book flights and holidays to Tivat from Leeds Bradford Airport for the first time and will operate weekly Monday services to the new destination from May 10 to September 27, 2027. This route is exclusive to Jet2 from the airport.
Located on the west coast of the Balkan Peninsula, Tivat offers a range of wonderful options for holidaymakers, including resorts such as stylish Budva, relaxing Becici and beautiful Herceg Novi. The stylish coastal town of Tivat itself is nearby, as is the breathtaking Bay of Kotor.
Today’s announcement comes just a week after Jet2 first launched flights and holidays to Santorini and Preveza, in response to demand from holidaymakers looking to book ahead for summer 2027 and enjoy a fantastic summer holiday. The new additions give customers and independent travel agents even more choice when it comes to holidays in Greece, with weekly Sunday services to Preveza from May 23 to October 10, 2027 and weekly Thursday services to Santorini from May 6 to October 7, 2027.
For summer 2027, the award-winning airline and tour operator will operate its largest program to date from Leeds Bradford Airport. With a total of almost two million seats for sale and 53 routes, including five brand new routes (Hurghada, Preveza, Santorini, Sharm El Sheik and Tivat), the huge program offers fantastic choice and flexibility.
Britain’s largest tour operator and third-largest airline have confirmed plans to operate normally this summer, after receiving positive updates from fuel suppliers reporting increased production and additional imports of jet fuel.
As well as taking the lead in not canceling flights and looking after customers, Jet2 was the first UK airline and tour operator to reassure customers that it will not introduce surcharges on booked flights or holidays to cover cost increases, for example on jet fuel. Simply put, the price at which customers book with Jet2 is the price they will pay. In a leading move, Jet2 has scrapped the surcharge provision for all flights and holidays, even though it was never applied.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said: “Just a week after announcing two new destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport for summer 2027, we are delighted to offer holidaymakers in Yorkshire even more good news after offering flights and holidays for sale to Tivat.
