HUNTERMOSS LAUNCHES NEW BASQUES TO BORDEAUX SUPERCAR TOUR AS PART OF NEW 2027 LINEUP | News

HunterMoss has launched its 2027 calendar, bringing together the company’s signature road trips across Europe and North America, alongside a groundbreaking new route: the Basque to Bordeaux Supercar Tour. The seven-day trip runs from April 26 to May 2, 2027 and runs from Bilbao via San Sebastián and Biarritz to the vineyards of Saint-Émilion, joining the dots between two of Europe’s most celebrated culinary and cultural regions.

The new tour is built around contrast and gastronomy. Guests move from the rugged Atlantic coastline of the Basque Country, with its pintxos bars and three-Michelin-starred cuisines, to the grand castles and storied roads of the Bordeaux wine region, with five-star stays overlooking the Cantabrian Sea and characterful accommodation in Biarritz along the way. As with any HunterMoss trip, the supercars are the thread that ties the experience together, rather than its purpose; the days are defined by gastronomy, scenery, private access and the company of a small group traveling together.

The complete European calendar 2027 consists of:
Winter Ice Driving Experience (January 12 – 18, 2027): An alpine winter journey through the Bavarian and Austrian Alps, combining ultra-luxury SUVs, a tailor-made ice course and five-star spa retreats.

“Our new journey from Basque to Bordeaux is one we are particularly proud of. Much of this remarkable region continues to be overlooked by those following the traditional tourist route, despite its influence on the world of wine, gastronomy and culture.” said Anthony Moss, CEO and Founder of HunterMoss.

“With this route, we wanted to showcase a different perspective, taking our guests further than expected and to the landscapes, communities and experiences that truly define its character. From the hidden coastal roads of Biarritz and historic villages like Belle Époque to revered vineyards and exceptional restaurants, the journey is designed around meaningful discoveries and offers a deeper connection to a part of Europe that continues to surprise and inspire.”

In 2026, HunterMoss expanded its approach to North America with a series of shorter escapes designed around the long weekend. Typically, these four-day, three-night trips share the same features as HunterMoss’ signature hosted road trips, boutique stays and refined regional dining, framed as a more compact getaway.

“What makes a trip stick with you is rarely what you expected. It’s the conversation over dinner, the road that leads to a view you didn’t see coming, the feeling of being somewhere you could never have reached on your own. We chose Basque to Bordeaux because few regions tell a richer story through food, landscape and culture, and because it lets our guests experience that story at the right pace. Every detail is designed so that people can simply be there together and take something home with them that is much more sustainable than a vacation,” says Julie Hunter, COO and Co-founder of HunterMoss.

The entire 2027 Tour collection in Europe and North America is open for questions. Each trip begins with a conversation with the HunterMoss Travel Concierge team, who shape each itinerary around the guest.
