Gulf Air restores 75% of its global network | News


Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced a near-complete return to normal operations, with 75% of its global network and destinations restored. In recent weeks, the airline has gradually resumed flights in the Middle East, Europe, the Indian subcontinent and Africa, resuming services to more destinations and connecting an increasing number of passengers via the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Gulf Air confirmed that flight frequency continues to grow, with services now operating to 40 destinations in 24 countries, representing 75% of the network, underscoring the airline’s rapid and structured return to full operational activities. Gulf Air continues to add flights and increase daily frequencies across its network in a phased approach leading to full recovery by June 1, 2026.

Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Air, commented: “The way our people have provided continuity to our customers during this period is nothing short of remarkable. With 75% of our network restored and more routes returning every day, Gulf Air is on track to restore full operations. To support passengers, Gulf Air is offering one free date change to all customers with confirmed bookings until June 30, 2026, with rebooking available until March 31, 2027. In addition, Gulf Air has extended FalconFlyer miles, loyalty points and tiers expiring in March, April and May 2026 until June 30, 2026.
