Corendon Airlines strengthens digital transformation at airports with new self-service kiosks | News

Corendon Airlines offers passengers a faster, easier and contactless travel experience with the introduction of new self-check-in kiosks at the airport. Passengers can easily complete processes such as check-in, seat selection, payments for additional services and baggage drop via the kiosks.

Corendon Airlines is known as the airline of firsts and continues to introduce new solutions that improve the passenger experience as part of its digital transformation strategy. Corendon Airlines’ new kiosks make the check-in process at the airport faster, simpler and more efficient. Passengers can complete several travel procedures at one point without visiting the check-in counter. By scanning their passport or entering their PNR numbers, passengers can access their flight details, purchase preferred seats or use the ‘Auto Assign’ option to receive a free seat assignment.

Thanks to the integrated checkout system on the kiosks, payments for additional services can be processed quickly and securely in four different currencies: Turkish Lira (TRY), Euro (EUR), US Dollar (USD) and British Pound (GBP). As part of the Self Bag Drop service, baggage information is automatically verified through the system, bag tags are activated and passengers can easily complete their bag drop process.

Corendon Airlines’ self check-in kiosks and Self Bag Drop solutions are currently available to passengers at Antalya, Manchester and Amsterdam airports. Test processes for the implementation of these systems are currently underway at Düsseldorf, Warsaw and Nuremberg airports.

Chief Operating Officer Atılay Batu of Corendon Airlines said:

“We continue to invest in digitalization to enable our passengers to complete their airport procedures faster and more comfortably. With our self-check-in kiosks, we are making the check-in and baggage drop-off processes more efficient while strengthening our operational capabilities. We will continue to improve our service quality with innovative solutions that enhance the overall guest experience.”
