Tanner Courtad saw Julianne Hough’s DWTS dance “Man in Finance.”
Weeks before Julianne Hough And The bachelorette alum Tanner Courtad met for dinner, he may have gotten a tease about her dating mentality.
Courtad, 31, was spotted in the Dancing with the stars ballroom during the Nov. 19 live semifinal show. He sat down next to it Kelsey Andersonwhere the eventual winner is applauded Joey Graziadei. (Courtad was there many DWTS season 33 episodes in support of the 29-year-old former bachelor.)
“I couldn’t be more proud of you, my husband! It’s been a wild ride watching you dance week after week,” Courtad wrote via Instagram last month before the DWTS final. “Your attention to detail and work ethic are second to none. No wonder you’re doing great things. Thanks for taking me along for the ride. Now go win the whole damn thing!
In addition to Graziadei and pro partner Jenna Johnson After beating their two semifinals, Hough, 36, was in action. In the midst of her hosting duties, Hough performed a surprise song on the viral TikTok “Looking for a Man in Finance.”
“Well, you know, I’m single and I’m looking for a man wherever I can find one,” Hough joked afterward.
Cohost Alfonso Ribeiro then joked that interested suitors could text Julianne’s first name for a date, citing the typical way he and Hough shouted DWTS vote every week.
“That won’t work, please don’t do that,” Hough added with a smile.
Cut to Thursday, December 5, when Hough and Courtad were spotted dining at the Sportsman’s Lodge shopping center in Studio City, California.
Courtad was one of them Charity Lawson‘s suitors The bachelorette season 20, where he met Graziadei. Courtad did not receive her final rose and then appeared on Bachelor in paradise in the summer of 2023, but he also left single. He has been too spotted with Brittany Cartwright amid her separation from Jax Taylor.
Hough, meanwhile, was previously married to Brooks Laich between 2017 and 2020. Prior to their divorce, she publicly came out as “not straight,” but she still believes The One will be a man.
“I feel like I’m going to end up with a man,” she said on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” in September. “I want to live and vibrate at the pace of my most authentic self, so that that is what attracts everyone, rather than putting what I think I want and need out there and then literally creating it by force.”
According to Hough, she is looking for “a partner” to “build a life with” and start a family.
“People say, ‘Well, what are you looking for?’ And I thought, ‘I’m a master manifester. I don’t want to put out exactly what I think I want because that’s what I’m going to get,” Hough added at the time. “There are certain feelings I want to feel in a relationship and there are certain qualities and values that are important to me [and] certain non-negotiables.”
