Abu Dhabi brings largest delegation ever to Great Britain for Experience Abu Dhabi Roadshow 2026 | News

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced the return of its Experience Abu Dhabi UK Roadshow, which will take place in London on August 10, Chester on August 12 and, for the first time, Glasgow on August 13.

The roadshow represents the largest trade delegation from Abu Dhabi to ever visit Britain and will bring together more than 30 hoteliers, attractions, destination management companies, airlines and tourism partners for a range of engagements with the UK travel industry.

The program reflects Abu Dhabi’s continued commitment to one of the most important international source markets and provides a platform to strengthen relationships with travel advisors, tour operators and industry stakeholders across the country.
Designed to keep partners informed and connected, the roadshow provides the latest updates on Abu Dhabi’s tourism landscape, including new attractions, hotel openings, cultural experiences and key developments that continue to enhance the visitor experience.

Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, said: “The UK remains one of Abu Dhabi’s most important international source markets, and this year’s roadshow marks our largest ever involvement in the UK travel industry. This roadshow is an opportunity to strengthen those relationships, share the latest developments across the emirate and ensure our partners have the knowledge and support needed to position Abu Dhabi with confidence to their customers.

“As our destination continues to grow, with new attractions, cultural institutions, hospitality offerings and major events, we remain focused on working closely with our partners to unlock new opportunities and support long-term growth. We look forward to engaging with the UK travel industry and showcasing what makes Abu Dhabi such an attractive destination for travelers today.”

Participants will gain insight into a destination that continues to evolve through significant investments in culture, entertainment and leisure. Upcoming additions to the tourism offering include Topgolf Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Abu Dhabi, Disneyland Abu Dhabi and Sphere Abu Dhabi, in addition to a growing portfolio of attractions, events and hospitality experiences that appeal to a wide range of travelers.

The UK remains one of Abu Dhabi’s best-performing international markets, with continued demand for the emirate’s mix of culture, luxury, family experiences, outdoor adventures and year-round events. Through the roadshow, DCT Abu Dhabi aims to equip trading partners with the latest destination knowledge and practical tools to support future growth and drive greater exposure among British travellers.

To complement the in-person program, DCT Abu Dhabi is also launching a virtual roadshow running from June 29 to July 13. Hosted on the Hablo platform, the initiative will feature daily video presentations, destination updates and interactive content, allowing travel professionals across the UK to connect with Abu Dhabi partners and build their knowledge ahead of the live events.

The roadshow is sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau, Al Ain, Etihad Airways and Miral Destinations. Participating partners include the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat Cultural District Abu Dhabi, Mandarin Oriental Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi National Hotels and a range of leading tourism and hospitality organizations from across the emirate.

Travel professionals are invited to become a certified Experience Abu Dhabi Expert through the official partner training site.
