British Airways ARC opens its doors at Olympia | News

British Airways today celebrates the opening of British Airways ARC in Olympia, welcoming customers to London’s newest entertainment and music venue.

The 3,800 capacity venue will become a major new cultural center for the capital and is part of Olympia’s £1.3 billion transformation. The state-of-the-art venue will bring together live music and entertainment, delivering a world-class experience for fans and artists alike.

British Airways’ ARC doors are now open

The venue opens tonight (June 16) with a performance from Self Esteem, followed by an exciting line-up of global artists including McFly, Van Morrison and Khalid, as British Airways ARC kicks off its inaugural season of shows.

As a Founding Partner of Olympia, British Airways connects customers to world-class entertainment. Members of The British Airways Club have already benefited from exclusive, ring-fenced ticket allocations, with access to a range of additional benefits across the destination, including the ability to collect Avios from selected restaurants and bars*.

To celebrate the opening, British Airways has unveiled its latest campaign, Cloudscapes, which will be seen both outside and inside the British Airways ARC location. The campaign spotlights alumni talent from The BRIT School, continuing the airline’s long-standing commitment to championing British creativity and showcasing unique perspectives inspired by aerial views.

Hamish Mcvey, Marketing Director at British Airways, said: “British Airways ARC represents an exciting new chapter in our partnership with Olympia and AEG, and a step forward in the way we connect our customers with unforgettable experiences both in the air and on the ground.

‘We’re proud to be a Founding Partner of a destination that celebrates British creativity and world-class entertainment, and we can’t wait for our customers and club members to step in, take a seat and experience it for themselves.’

Taking Olympia to heaven

To mark the launch, the airline has partnered with one of Olympia’s most exciting new restaurants, Wolves of Tokyo, to create an exclusive inflight menu for Club World (long-haul business class) customers, delivered in collaboration with its catering partner DO&CO.

Located in Olympia’s Canopy, Wolves of Tokyo offers a bold take on contemporary Japanese cuisine, inspired by Tokyo’s vibrant nightlife and rooted in high-quality products and authentic techniques.

British Airways and Wolves of Tokyo have created a selection of signature dishes, offered alongside the airline’s in-flight menu, featuring some of the restaurant’s standout creations, each carefully developed to enhance the flavor profiles in the air.

From 1 July, the dishes will be available on every long-haul flight departing from Heathrow to Tokyo (Haneda)**, including:

Crab maki with avocado, cucumber, lime mayonnaise and orange tobiko
North Atlantic miso-glazed cod
Kaiso seaweed salad with white gum dressing
Matcha cheesecake with fresh berries
British Airways Executive Chef Mark Brega said: “This partnership with Wolves of Tokyo allows us to bring together the signature British Airways dining experience with the bold, contemporary flavors inspired by Tokyo and London’s dynamic restaurant scene.

‘Working closely with our teams, we have carefully curated a selection of dishes that taste great at altitude, ensuring they retain their depth of flavor whilst reflecting the quality and attention to detail our customers expect at 10,000 metres. It is a great opportunity to add something new to our onboard offering this summer.”

Wolves of Tokyo’s Chef Itamae, Roshan Raj Pandey, said: “Partnering with British Airways has been an exciting opportunity to bring a whole new audience a taste of Wolves of Tokyo. Our menu is inspired by the energy and creativity of modern Tokyo, while remaining rooted in exceptional ingredients and meticulous attention to detail.
