Mariska Hargitay on Being Courtside for Knicks Game 4 Win

Mariska Hargitay arrived at Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night after matinee and evening performances of “Every Brilliant Thing” at the nearby Hudson Theater.
Initially seen wearing a black shirt, she soon changed into a custom orange and blue T-shirt emblazoned with “Stevie Knicks,” an apparent gift from Taylor Swift, who wore a matching T-shirt along with Alana and Este Haim.
Hargitay was a regular at Knicks games and was seen celebrating the team’s victory and hugging both Swift and player Jalen Brunson. “I want everyone to throw out every leadership book they have and replace it with a picture of Jalen,” Hargitay told me in an exclusive statement Thursday. “We can learn so much from his strength. And it’s not just his own strength; the heart of his entire family beats in him when he plays.”
“And I feel so lucky, so honored, so grateful that in the future, when people talk about that game, which they will forever do, I can say, ‘I was there,’” she continued. “I can’t tell you how much I love, respect and cherish this Knicks team!!”
Game 5 of the NBA Finals takes place on June 13 at 5:30 PM PT/8:30 PM ET. It airs live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on ABC.
