Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, has reopened this season with the addition of 33 new beachfront suites. This marks the final phase of the resort’s transformation following its debut as a Luxury Collection hotel last year. The resort is located on the quiet bend of Grikos Bay and is the only luxury beach hotel on Patmos. It provides a sophisticated base from which to experience the island’s spiritual heritage, natural beauty and understated charm.

Patmos Aktis was originally developed in the 1960s as part of Greece’s state-run Xenia program and completed a renovation last year with new rooms, suites, maisonettes and public areas. The 33 additional beachfront suites added this year include private pool options, designed to provide more space, privacy and connection to the surrounding landscape. The resort also offers destination-related dining and wellness experiences, from Plefsis Tavern and ANASA Wellness & Spa to the arrival of Barolo, featuring fine Italian cuisine, in addition to private boat trips, monastery visits, architectural walks of Chora and other experiences shaped by the culture and character of Patmos.
