Tova Hamilton on tourism, cruise partnerships and local opportunities | News

At the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) PAMAC Cruise Summit last month on board Carnival Glory, Tova Hamilton, newly appointed Minister of State for Jamaica’s Ministry of Tourism, highlighted the critical role of tourism – particularly cruise tourism – in expanding opportunities for local participation and economic inclusion. She also underscored the importance of direct engagement with industry partners, noting that dialogue on the ground helps policymakers better understand operational realities and translate those insights into more informed, effective decision-making at home.
