BA American Express® cardholders can now use their Companion Voucher when booking with BA Holidays | News
British Airways American Express® cardholders who book with British Airways Holidays using Avios (as full or part payment) can now redeem their Companion Voucher to receive 25% of these Avios back.
British Airways American Express® Premium Plus cardholders can get up to 200,000 Avios back per booking and British Airways American Express® Credit Cardholders can get up to 50,000 Avios back per booking.1 This new offer is available on holiday package bookings made before March 31, 2027.
When booking with Avios and redeeming a Companion Voucher with British Airways Holidays, customers can book any cabin on any flight included in a package, without the need for Reward Flight availability. Bookings are also valid for up to nine travellers, making it easier than ever to save on a family getaway with a Companion Voucher. Additionally, unlike using a voucher on a reward flight, customers are not required to have flown their outbound flight before their voucher expires. As long as the voucher used is valid at the time of booking, customers can go on holiday after their voucher has expired.
British Airways American Express® Companion Voucher used
British Airways American Express® cardholders still have the option to redeem their Companion Voucher on Reward flights with British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus, and bring a friend or family member on the same flight and cabin for no additional Avios, or for solo travelers, pay 50% less Avios. Cardholders must spend £15,000 in a card membership year to receive a Companion Voucher.

How to redeem the Companion Voucher with British Airways Holidays
Within 72 hours of making a qualifying booking via ba.com/holidays – selecting Avios as full or part payment – cardholders can submit a short online form to use their Companion Voucher. 25% of redeemed Avios will then be refunded to their British Airways Club account. For example, if a cardholder spends 40,000 Avios on a holiday to Tenerife, 10,000 Avios will be given back to them.
Cardholders will continue to earn tier points based on the total price of the holiday package, before their Avios and Companion Voucher are applied. General terms and conditions apply.
