voco Darwin Suites has officially opened its doors in the heart of the city centre, bringing IHG Hotels & Resorts’ fast-growing premium brand to the Northern Territory for the first time. The new build hotel also marks the debut of a voco Suites product in Australia, offering one and two-bedroom suites that combine the convenience of self-catering facilities with a productive working environment, while retaining the playful characteristics of voco.
Located at 87 Mitchell Street, each of the 88 thoughtfully designed suites offers the space and comfort of apartment-style living, backed by the consistency of a global hotel brand. All suites feature a kitchen or kitchenette, a dedicated work area and space for lounging, while the Marketplace in the hotel lobby offers locally sourced produce for guests to enjoy or cook in the privacy of their own space.
Guests will also benefit from the unique Top End views, with suites offering views over the ocean or city skyline, many with private balconies enhancing the residential feel, ideal for extended stays, business and leisure travelers alike.
The guest experience is built around the distinctive features of the voco brand – ‘Come in’, ‘Me time’ and ‘voco life’, brought to life by voco hosts. The Aviary Bar & Brasserie offers a taste of voco’s vibrant social scene, serving modern Australian cuisine and regional flavors in a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the character of the local community. Guests can head to the Aviary Bar near the hotel lobby for homemade cocktails, wine and drinks.
Guests also have access to an outdoor plunge pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a bright meeting and events space, in addition to smart in-room technology, high-speed WiFi and premium bathroom amenities.

voco Darwin Suites is now open and welcoming guests, with rooms starting from AUD$230 per night.
