Qatar Airways has confirmed its expansion in the Americas with the launch of new flights to Caracas, Venezuela and Bogotá, Colombia, starting from July 22, 2026. The service represents a significant milestone for the airline, as Qatar Airways becomes the first Gulf airline to serve Venezuela, and the first airline to operate flights from the Middle East to Caracas and Bogotá. This expansion underlines the airline’s commitment announced last year to strengthen global connectivity for the region.
Qatar Airways flights to Caracas (CCS) and Bogotá (BOG)
Qatar Airways will operate two weekly flights to Caracas and Bogotá, further improving connectivity to and from the Americas. The flight schedule is designed to provide smooth connections to key markets including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates via Hamad International Airport. This offers passengers greater flexibility and seamless transfer options across Qatar Airways’ global network.

Doha (DOH) to Bogotá (BOG) – Flight QR783: departure 07:30; Arrival 4:05 PM
Bogotá (BOG) to Caracas (CCS) – Flight QR783: departure 5:35 PM; Arrival 8:40 PM
Caracas (CCS) to Doha (DOH) – Flight QR783 Departure 22:40; Arrival 7:55 PM +1
The addition of Caracas and Bogotá marks the 15th and 16th destinations in the Americas served by Qatar Airways. The airline began serving South America in 2010 with its first flight to São Paulo, Brazil.
