Oceania Cruises®, the world’s leading culinary and destination-focused luxury cruise line, today announced plans for an extensive renewal of its acclaimed ship, Oceania Marina™.
Oceania Marina is expected to enter dry dock in October 2026 and will undergo an extensive transformation. Each cabin will be carefully redesigned, complemented by thoughtful improvements in all public areas, so that the ship reflects Oceania Cruises’ signature blend of residential luxury, timeless design and understated elegance.
This upgrade from stem to stern of the 1,250-guest vessel is the first in a series of improvements planned as part of the company’s OceaniaNEXT™ program, a comprehensive initiative that is at the heart of its commitment to continually improve the guest experience. The ambitious fleet-wide initiative will touch every element of the onboard experience, from ship design to cuisine, service and enrichment.
The reinvigoration of Oceania Marina is an important milestone in ensuring that the atmosphere and aesthetics of all ships in the fleet are aligned and match the design and atmosphere of Oceania Cruises’ planned newbuild projects. This move will position the current fleet for the future while staying true to the line’s legacy of exceptional cuisine, destination immersion and intuitive service.

Highlights of re-inspiration
All staterooms will be completely redesigned with a new layout, luxurious furnishings and all-new bathrooms with marble finishes and spacious rainforest showers
Penthouse, Oceania, Vista and Owner’s Suites are being updated to maintain consistency with their recent improvements
Public areas, including bars and lounges, feature updated furnishings, new carpeting and sophisticated lighting, creating a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic. In addition, the enlarged Grand Lounge will introduce the Founders Bar, an atmospheric lounge with craft cocktails such as barrel-aged Negronis and imaginative small gin creations
A new Chef’s Studio will replace the former Artist Loft, offering an expanded program of insightful demonstrations, new opportunities to learn from culinary experts and enjoy food and wine tastings
The bakery will join the ship’s chic coffeehouse, Baristas, and will take the onboard café experience to the next level by serving tempting French and Italian pastries and freshly baked treats all day long to complement your morning cappuccino or as a mid-afternoon sweet treat
The signature specialty restaurants Polo Grill, Red Ginger, Toscana and Jacques will expand with updated design and state-of-the-art kitchen enhancements, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to The Finest Cuisine at Sea®.
All new sun loungers and sunbeds on the pool deck provide comfortable relaxation for guests as they enjoy the ever-changing sea and landscape views
