Zannier Bãi San Hô reopens on April 1, 2026 after major restoration after typhoon Kalmaegi | News

After several months of intensive restoration, Zannier Bãi San Hô will reopen its doors to welcome guests on April 1, 2026. The reopening follows the devastating impact of Typhoon Kalmaegi, which forced the property – widely regarded as one of Vietnam’s most acclaimed luxury coastal destinations – to close late last year.

The storm caused significant damage throughout the country, including to the resort and its grounds, prompting an extensive restoration effort to return the property to its original design and operational standards. During the peak renovation phase, up to 200 workers were deployed on site, carrying out a rigorous program of works focused on craftsmanship, safety and maintaining both the original essence and integrity of the resort.
of the guest experience. The scope of work spanned villas, public areas and landscaped grounds, requiring a coordinated effort between craftsmen, artisans and the resort’s operations team to ensure consistency at every level.

“Reopening after an event of this magnitude requires a careful balance,” said Arnaud Zannier, CEO and founder of Zannier Hotels. “There is always a strong desire to welcome guests back as soon as possible, but in a luxury environment every detail matters – especially for the Zannier Hotels brand, which is built on a principle of attention to detail and capturing the soul of a destination through the details. Our priority has been to ensure the property returns to the level our guests expect, while supporting our team and community during the recovery.”

“We are incredibly grateful to the hundreds of people who contributed to this process – from our construction teams and craftsmen to our on-site staff – whose commitment and care have played a huge role in breathing new life into Zannier Bãi San Hô,” said Alain Bachmann, General Manager of Zannier Bãi San Hô.
