Prince Harry reveals his children don’t know ‘what he does’ for a job

While rudderless Prince Harry has been criticized for apparently being a layabout without a job, his own children appear to have no idea what he does for a living. RadarOnline.com can reveal.
The former senior working royal, 40, gave a very curious answer when asked what his two children think he “does” as a profession, after his production deal with his wife, Meghan Markle, was seriously downgraded.
Harry appeared on the Hasan Minhaj doesn’t know podcast on Wednesday, October 29, when the Tron: Ares Star tried to get his guest to participate in a game of ‘Royal Rapid Fire’.
Harry admitted that he has “no plans at this time” to become a US citizen and that life in the United States has become “much more confusing” since he moved to California with Markle in 2020. Minhaj then left the prince bewildered with his next question.
“What do your kids think you do?” the comedian, 40, asked Harry, about Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.
After a long pause, the prince replied, “That’s a good question,” and repeated it to Minhaj in an apparent attempt to wait and come up with an answer.
After Harry couldn’t answer the question, Minhaj clarified by asking, “What do they think daddy does?”
The Harry & Meghan star gave a vague answer, “Uh… they know we help other people.”
Minhaj then asked specifically what kind of “work” Harry does, even giving an example of how his young daughter previously joined him on the set of his podcast and played with his microphone while he got the hang of his show.
When the Haunted house star realized he wasn’t getting anywhere, he asked Harry what his children do “When Dad’s on the phone.”
“All they are interested in is saying hello to the people on the phone,” the prince replied. ‘They are fascinated to see other people. They like seeing familiar faces,” he added, claiming that he sometimes had to push them away to avoid stepping in to interrupt them.
A clearly frustrated Minhaj then switched the topic, as it was clear that Harry had no answer for what his children think he does for a job.
Although Archie was born when his father was a prince of the realm, he was too young to remember that his father once traveled the world on behalf of his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, meeting dignitaries and world leaders.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex even had their son make his public debut during a meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu during a 2019 royal visit to South Africa.
But those heady days of royal life came to an end in January 2020, when Harry and Markle announced they wanted a “half-in, half-out” arrangement, which would allow them to live abroad and earn their own money while performing occasional royal duties.
The Queen declined the proposal and the couple retired as senior working royals and moved to a country house in Montecito, California, where they started a new life. Born in 2021, Lilibet never got a taste of her parents’ former regal world.
Although Harry has remained active as a patron of the adaptive sport Invictus Games since leaving royal life, not much else has come his way since leaving the royal fold.
He and Markle initially struck major deals with Netflix and Spotify, but any non-royal content flopped with viewers and listeners, and their agreements were rescinded.
Harry still occasionally gives speeches on his passion projects, including mental health and the impact of social media on children.
But even the prince’s philanthropic work has declined.
A scandal over human rights abuses rocked Harry’s charity African Parks, while he resigned as head of his Sentebale charity in March following a clash with the organisation’s chairman.
