RYANAIR REVEALS TOP 5 DESTINATIONS FOR 2026 | News
As the year ends, a new year begins – which means it’s time to start planning your 2026 getaways. To help inspire your travel plans for the New Year, Ryanair, Europe’s number 1 airline, today (Wednesday 31 December) revealed the top 5 destinations across its industry-leading network of more than 235 destinations that passengers will flock to by 2026:
Bratislava (Slovakia): is fast becoming one of Europe’s most exciting city break destinations, combining rich history with modern charm. Renowned for its medieval Old Town and breathtaking castle views, the city will be more accessible than ever in summer 2026 thanks to Ryanair’s record schedule of 33 routes, increasing capacity by +70%.
Tirana (Albania): Albania’s vibrant capital is a city where colorful streets, lively cafes and beautiful mountain backdrops create an unforgettable travel experience. From the charming mix of Ottoman, Italian and modern architecture to the bustling Skanderbeg Square and serene Lake Tirana, the city offers a perfect blend of history, beautiful weather and contemporary culture. In April 2026, Ryanair will open its new base with three aircraft in Tirana, with regular flights (450 per week) on its 33 routes.
Pescara (Italy): Italy remains one of Europe’s most fascinating destinations, with breathtaking coastlines, historic cities and world-class cuisine. Pescara – a city on the Adriatic coast – is a good example, best known for its beautiful beaches and the birthplace of Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio. Rabat (Morocco): Morocco’s historic capital, will shine brighter than ever in 2026 with the opening of the new base with two Ryanair aircraft in April. This expansion will see Ryanair expand its Rabat schedule to 20 routes, connecting several major European cities.
