Registration opens for the only official cruise industry conference in the Caribbean and LATAM | News

The cruise industry is now open for business as registration has officially opened for the FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show, the only official cruise conference taking place in the Caribbean and Latin America, as well as the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) keynote and only open registration event, allowing each attendee to target approximately 100 high-level cruise executives during an agenda of workshops, networking functions, one-on-one meetings and more.

“This is the only event in the region that puts every participant in direct contact with cruise managers who can drive business,” said Micky Arison, chairman of Carnival Corporation & plc and FCCA.

The preparations will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from October 12 to 16, and many of the decision-making executives have already confirmed this. Now’s the time to register and take advantage of opportunities like one-on-one meetings and discounted rates.

“We are proud of the continued success of this event for the participants and so many across the Caribbean and Latin America,” said Michele Paige, CEO of FCCA. “The FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show has been the birthplace of everything from new tours to entire destination developments, so we’re excited about what this year can bring for everyone.”

The core of the conference is built around one-on-one meetings between delegates and cruise managers, with 15-minute sessions to pitch products and get individualized input from those who decide where ships call, what to sell on board and how to invest in destinations and infrastructure.

Anyone who registers before August 31 will be eligible to schedule these meetings, with the event looking to break a new record after five consecutive years since the revamped format put the meetings in the spotlight – and last year’s record with 1,030 meeting rooms.

There is also an ‘early bird discount’ until August 31, which gives extra reason to book early. Pre-registration is possible until October 11. On-site registration is offered, but the rate will be higher due to potential additional costs for food, transportation and other event logistics.

The news was announced during the FCCA PAMAC Destination Summit, taking place June 23-26 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, with an agenda packed with meetings, workshops and networking events connecting FCCA Platinum members with leading cruise industry leaders to discuss trends and develop relationships and mutual benefits, while showcasing the Dominican Republic and working toward its goals as a strategic partner of FCCA.

More details about the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show – including workshop topics and panelists – will be released later. For more information and registration, visit www.FCCAConference.com.
