Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped to make Savannah ‘suffer,’ profilers reveal

Savannah shared that she feared early on that she was responsible for her mother’s disappearance after her brother, Camron, suggested that Nancy could have been kidnapped for ransom due to his sister’s fame and notoriety.
In the interview with Hoda Kotb that aired just before Savannah’s return on April 6 Today, she tearfully explained how hard it was to imagine “that it’s because she’s my mother and someone was like, ‘Oh, that girl, that lady has money, we could get – make some quick money.’ ”
“I mean, that would make sense, but we don’t know, but yeah, that’s probably… which is too much to think that I brought this to her bed, that it’s because of me. And I just have to say, I’m so sorry, Mom. I’m so sorry,” Savannah shared, crying.
