Lynette Hooker was ‘accused of domestic violence’ against her husband

Following her disappearance in Bahamian waters, Brian was arrested by Bahamian police for questioning but was later released without charge. He has denied any suspicion of her disappearance from the start.
“I never hurt Lynette, and I never have would Harming Lynette,” he said NBC News. “I want to find Lynette.”
According to Brian, Lynette was swept away by the current and he lost sight of her. Even after almost two weeks, Brian refuses to give up hope.
“I’ve been told that people have survived in the Bahamas after falling overboard for days or even weeks,” he said. CBS News.
“There are so many islands, there are so many sandbars, little atolls and headlands,” he continued. “Of course you think about alternatives to that, but I’m not really in a position to just turn away from this.”
But late Wednesday, Brian left the Bahamas to care for his ailing mother in an undisclosed location. His attorney said she did not know how long he planned to be away.
