‘Live With Kelly and Mark’ post-Oscars episode ratings up 13%

It’s one ratings gain after another for Disney’s syndicated talk strip “Live With Kelly and Mark,” which saw this year’s episode “After the Oscars” up double digits over last year in total viewers and other demos.
The morning after, “One Battle After Another” won the Academy Award for Best Picture at the Dolby Theater, and “Live With Kelly and Mark” aired from the same location, averaging 3.096 million viewers – a 13% increase over last year’s 2.740 million. The show also rose among women 25 to 54 (0.58 rating, up 18% from 0.49) and in other demos.
That made it the most-watched “Live” of the season, and the show’s most-watched broadcast since January 6, 2025, as well as the best household number (2.06 rating) since March 11, 2024.
“Live With Kelly and Mark” aired its “After the Oscars” show on Monday, March 16, with hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos welcoming guest musicians Wyclef Jean and Andra Day, as well as red carpet coverage from comedian and impressionist Matt Friend, a recap of the Oscars’ biggest moments with comedian Leanne Morgan, a fashion critique with Carson Kressley and an immediate post-ceremony interview with host Conan O’Brien.
This week, “Live” was up 6% from the week before in total viewers (2.711 million vs. 2.560 million) and up 6% among women 25 to 54 (0.51 rating vs. 0.48). According to Disney, the show has grown over the past four weeks to include women ages 25 to 54. And year over year, viewership this week rose 11% (2.711 million vs. 2.440 million) and 6% among women 25-54 (0.51 vs. 0.48 rating).
“Live” has now extended its syndicated talk show winning streak to 164 consecutive weeks across all major metrics, and its season to date sits at the top in total viewers (2.434 million), women 18-49 (0.29 rating) and women 25-54 (0.44 rating).
