ILTM ASIA PACIFIC CELEBRATES ITS MOST PROLIFIC EDITION TO DATE | News

Opening with news that the APAC economy will grow by 4.1% this year, ILTM Asia Pacific – organized by RX Global – celebrated its most successful event to date in Singapore this week. More than 780 luxury travel curators representing high-net-worth clients from 23 countries in the region – including Australia, China, India, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Korea – met with 780 global luxury travel suppliers at the event.

Event Director Polly Magraw commented: “We were privileged to facilitate 40,650 high-level one-on-one meetings at ILTM Asia Pacific this week, an increase of 10% year-on-year. Business continued around the clock all week as travel suppliers and buyers met key partners and forged many new relationships – the passion of the industry was palpable!”
The event opened with an impactful forum, including a presentation by Simon Baptiste, Asia Pacific Chief Economist at Visa, who, in addition to the forecast figure regarding the growth of the Asia Pacific economy (4.1%), also revealed that new wealth centers and AI-driven fortunes are reshaping Asia’s affluent consumer base; the biggest opportunities will be found in fast-growing travel corridors, i.e. not just in the source markets, but also where the wealthy travel; and finally, future growth will require sharper segmentation – not just by market, but also by generation and intent.

In addition to the new hotels and destinations at ILTM Asia Pacific, over 50% of buyers were not present at the 2025 edition. More than 50 influential media outlets from across the region were also in attendance, as well as key luxury travel editors and writers from Singapore itself.

It is fantastic to be able to meet people representing the most affluent travelers from these important 23 countries. We will definitely be back in Singapore at ILTM Asia Pacific 2027!”

Roland Faisal, president of Capella Hotel Group added: “ILTM Asia Pacific is where the region’s luxury travel community comes together – evidenced by the quality of buyers, the depth of the conversations and the caliber of media in the room. Joining this year’s event was a wonderful reintroduction, at just the right time as both Capella and Patina expand into some of the world’s most exciting destinations.”
Ciara O’Shea, Global Director of Marketing and Communications at tulåh Clinical Wellness also said:
“ILTM Asia Pacific 2026 was the perfect platform to launch tulåh Clinical Wellness. We met the right agents from key countries in the region, in addition to the most influential media, and the response to our medically-led approach to wellness has been incredible. We look forward to building on these connections and opportunities as we strengthen our presence in the region.”

Francesca Barba, Director of Sales, Marketing & Revenue at the family-owned Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni on Lake Como, added: “As a new exhibitor, ILTM Asia Pacific absolutely exceeded our expectations. We are new to this market and appreciated the intimate, unhurried atmosphere of the show; it gave every conversation room to breathe. The buyers we met were well prepared and clearly understood what they were looking for. The quality of the conversations was exceptional.”
