Hilton signs new-build flagship Adelaide Hotel | News

Hilton today announced the signing of the new Hilton Adelaide East End at 299 Pirie Street, marking the next chapter in the brand’s long-standing presence in South Australia.

Spanning 27 floors, Hilton Adelaide East End will be a newly built, 251-room hotel deliberately designed with vibrant spaces that set the scene for each stay. Developed under a franchise agreement with Auriga Investments and operated by Trilogy Hotels, the hotel will form part of Arcadia, a contemporary mixed-use development that aims to revitalize the eastern end of the CBD. Strategically located just over 1km from Rundle Mall and East End, and surrounded by dining, entertainment and cultural destinations, the hotel places guests at the center of this sought-after destination, serving both business and leisure demand in one of Adelaide’s most connected precincts.

“Hilton’s return to Adelaide is both a symbolic and strategic milestone,” said Tushar Raniga, director of development, Australasia, Hilton. “This project allows us to reintroduce Hilton Hotels & Resorts as a modern, design-led flagship that aligns with Adelaide’s growth and evolving skyline. Auriga’s vision and the site’s exceptional location make this an ideal opportunity to re-establish Hilton’s presence in South Australia in partnership with Trilogy Hotels.”

Hilton Adelaide East End will offer thoughtfully designed rooms ranging from 31 to 140 m², a leisure terrace, multiple food and beverage options and 303 m² of meeting space, delivering a contemporary full-service guest experience tailored to hosting Adelaide’s growing business and lifestyle travel segments. Amenities include a fitness center and swimming pool, located in a vibrant neighborhood that cultivates social connection, wellness and a relaxed urban lifestyle.

The area is easily accessible, with an easy tram connection just 700 meters from the location. The hotel is purpose-built and features modern architecture and has been designed with sustainability and operational efficiency at its core.

Eric Luk, director of Auriga Investment Group Pty Ltd, said: “Hilton has played a defining role in Adelaide’s hospitality landscape for more than four decades, and Auriga is honored to be part of its rebirth. Arcadia was conceived as a place where community, design and urban living meet – a precinct that combines a new residential area with a flagship Hilton hotel. Together they will create a destination that draws locals back to the CBD and supports Adelaide’s year-round calendar of events. This is a long-term investment in the city’s future, and we aim to deliver a precinct that will elevate Adelaide for generations to come.”

“Every major city needs a Hilton hotel, and we are honored to have been appointed by Auriga Investments as operator of the new Hilton Adelaide East End,” said Scott Boyes, CEO of Trilogy Hotels. “This groundbreaking project underlines Trilogy’s commitment to maximizing performance for hoteliers while creating memorable stays for our guests. By combining Trilogy’s local expertise and disciplined operations, along with Hilton’s powerful loyalty program, the hotel will set a new benchmark for quality and service in Adelaide.”

The full-service hotel will open in 2031 and will join Hilton Honors, the award-winning loyalty program with more than 250 million members worldwide. Members who book directly have access to instant benefits, including a flexible payment slider that allows members to choose virtually any combination of points and money to book a stay, an exclusive member discount, free standard Wi-Fi and the Hilton Honors mobile app.
