Forsthofgut Nature Hotel in Leogang, Austria has unveiled their newly renovated Garden Loft Suites, in addition to summer camp programs for children and teens, giving families more space, privacy and ways to experience summer in the Austrian Alps.
Created in response to growing demand for luxury accommodations designed around family travel, the renovated Garden Loft Suites offer approximately 1,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space over two floors and can accommodate up to five guests. Each suite features a master bedroom with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, open bathroom with freestanding bath, a separate children’s bedroom upstairs and an upstairs living area with a sofa, fireplace and a second bathroom. A private hot tub has also been added to the terrace, joining the suite’s outdoor sauna and mountain views, to create more space for families to relax between activities.
The suite updates coincide with the launch of Forsthofgut’s Kids and Teens Camp programs, offered on select dates through September. Designed for children aged five and over, the camps offer young guests a more structured way to experience Leogang through outdoor adventure, creative workshops, sports and nature-led exploration.
For children aged five to eight, the property’s Explorer Camp and Researcher Camp use the surrounding forests and mountains as an open-air classroom, with days dedicated to ranger-led discoveries, rocket building, beekeeping, natural arts, simple experiments, woodcarving and cooking over an open fire. For teens, the Adventure and Action Camp, Active Camp and Girls Camp offer a more active pace, with archery, rafting, rope climbing, mountain go-karting, yoga, art studio sessions and time at Pillersee for stand-up paddle boarding or relaxing by the water.
A Tennis Camp and Football Camp round out the new programs, with sessions grouped by skill level or age. The camps are designed to give children and teens new ways to stay active, spend time outdoors and connect with other young guests, while parents have more time to enjoy Forsthofgut’s award-winning waldSPA, restaurants and mountain activities.
Together, the renovated Garden Loft Suites and camp programs further enhance Forsthofgut’s family offering, combining more spacious accommodations with summer activities shaped by sports, creativity, nature and time outdoors.
