Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds left shocked after their fight with Justin Baldoni

The Hollywood smackdown erupted in December 2024 when Lively, 38, hit Baldoni, 42, with a lawsuit, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a vicious smear campaign against her.
Now, the feuding movie stars have issued a joint statement about their film, saying it has “had a meaningful impact on the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors.”
In response to Lively’s complaints made during filming, the statement continued: “We recognize that the process presented challenges and acknowledge that Ms. Lively’s concerns deserve to be heard.
“We remain firmly committed to workplaces that are free from inappropriateness and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this will bring an end and allow all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful online environment.”
Megan Thomas, a New York attorney who specializes in sexual harassment cases, spoke exclusively RadarOnline.com that if the case went to trial, a barrage of private emails and text messages between high-profile Hollywood insiders could have become a PR nightmare.
“Often parties reach a settlement because they know both sides have a strong case,” explains Thomas, who was not involved in the lawsuit.
“They are entering into a settlement agreement to try to address these concerns and not make them public.”
