Angelina Jolie Lists LA Estate for $30 Million Amid Foreign Relocation Rumors

Hollywood starlet Angelina Jolie has put her legendary Los Angeles estate on the market for $29.9 million – almost two years after admitting she wanted to leave the US for good and move abroad.

Jolie, 50, bought the special home, where the iconic filmmaker once lived Cecil B. DeMillefor $24.5 million in 2017, less than a year after she filed for divorce from a fellow on-screen star Brad Pittand it has been her primary residence ever since.

However, in August 2025, rumors began to circulate that she was preparing the property for sale, after she admitted to The Hollywood Reporter that she hoped to leave Los Angeles once the youngest of her six children turned 18.

She explained to the outlet in a 2024 interview that under the terms of her divorce settlement with Pitt, which was not finalized until that year, she had to remain in California until all their children reached the milestone age, but said she hoped to spend “a lot of time in Cambodia” if she was free to move.

“I grew up in this town. I’m here because I have to be here because of a divorce, but once they turn 18 I can leave,” she said at the time.

“When you have a large family, you want them to have privacy, peace and security. I have a home now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… the humanity I have found around the world is not what I grew up with here. [After Los Angeles,] I will be spending a lot of time in Cambodia. I will spend time visiting my relatives wherever they are in the world.”
