Diddy Witness fires back at the rapper’s sons in legal war over Kim Porter’s book

The man who Kim Porter book reportedly based on her diary, takes aim at her in his legal battle with Diddy and Kim’s sons… and telling the boys to fuck off.

Courtney Burgess and his lawyer Ariel Mitchell unleashed a nasty reaction Christian And Quincy Combs after the brothers sent Burgess and Mitchell a cease and desist about the alleged Porter tell-all.

In the legal response, obtained by TMZ, Burgess and Mitchell take issue with Christian and Quincy, who claim he is trying to capitalize on Kim’s hard-earned fame by selling “Kim Porter Tell It All”… saying Kim is not an actor was or entertainer and her fame was solely due to the fact that she was Diddy’s ‘old lover’.

Cheap photos aside, Burgess says he absolutely owns the copyright to the book and that Kim gave him the rights before her death.

As we reported… the Combs brothers say they became the rightful heirs and owners of Kim’s intellectual property rights after her November 2018… and therefore her alleged diary entries are their property.

However, Mitchell tells TMZ … Kim and Burgess used to have a mutual friend who was a music producer and they met through this person, and Kim told Burgess in a phone call that she would give him a copy of hers. diary/memoir before sending it to him…and that’s how he got the rights.

We spoke to Burgess and Mitchell a few weeks ago in New York, where they told us they had just finished a federal grand jury and would be meeting with federal prosecutors about the Diddy case.

We’re told the FBI seized Burgess’ phone, which contained a copy of the data on the flash drive used for the Porter book.

Kim and Diddy’s sons also told Burgess they wanted an accounting of all the money he made from the book… and Burgess says their cease-and-desist is a “desperate ploy” devised by Diddy to get money to squeeze… and he says this “Pathetic attempt illustrates how dire the financial situation is” for Diddy and his sons.
