The ‘Missing Gossip Girl Actress’ case takes a bizarre twist

RadarOnline.com can reveal Chanel Maya’s family. Banks have now claimed that the woman found by police in Texas is not the actress they say is still missing.
The 36-year-old star caused panic by ‘disappearing’ from her Los Angeles apartment and had not been seen or heard from for two weeks.
Her cousin Danielle-Tori Singh, based in Toronto, started the search and the TV star’s mother also came from New York to assist in the search. Together they started a GoFundMe page.
At the time, Singh and Banks’ mother claimed she abandoned her beloved dog and only took a phone and a laptop with her. The Los Angeles Police Department also confirmed that they were investigating the matter and revealed that they had conducted four separate failed welfare checks.
Then, on Wednesday, police announced that Banks had been found in Texas and that they were closing their case. Investigators also added that there was no foul play or crime.
However, the Gossip girl Star’s family does not believe the woman found is in fact Banks.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Singh shared, “I have the Texas PD bodycam footage shown to us at the Pacific Police Station in LA on Monday, November 11th.
“This is the woman they tell us is Chanel. We told them this is not Chanel. They didn’t listen to us and closed the case. That’s why [Banks] I won’t post a video saying she’s safe because it’s not Chanel.”
Singh added that the family will continue to post “missing persons” flyers.
She previously called the woman police say was Banks an “imposter.”
This comes after a Banks Instagram account claimed she was never ‘missing’ during a tirade that included shocking allegations against her own family.
She reportedly said, “My name is Chanel Banks. I am a 36 year old American nobody. I have met with the police and verified that not only am I okay, but that I am finally free.”
Banks added, “They say once you are free in Christ Jesus, you are free indeed, so I told my husband six days ago that I was going to be baptized by one of my favorite preachers, Reverend Robert Clancy. to the airport and then I was free for a week… but I also saw it as an opportunity to escape from my cage.”
She said, “I will never allow myself to be silenced again.”
Banks continued, claiming: “All my life I have silently borne the pain of the ritual sexual abuse, manipulation and downright endless torment I have endured continuously since I was a defenseless baby at the hands of my own so-called family, who are all so ‘concerned’ about my current whereabouts.
“I met with the police and found that not only am I okay, but I am finally free from my mother and her family.”
Banks also claimed that she had not spoken to Singh in over 15 years, let alone every day or 48 hours…’ and added: ‘I will never allow myself to be silenced again, especially not by my abusers…’ “
Late Thursday night, Banks also took to the social media platform share new photos and a video of her getting glammed up with the caption: “I heard you were looking for me, what now?” and added the hashtag “stupid and dumber”.
Fans were quick to respond as one person joked, “I guess you don’t need that GoFundMe right now,” and another added, “I have way too much invested in this. Are we going to have a Hulu, Netflix, Lifetime movie release?” this?”
