Jet Lag season 19 will premiere at Picturehouse Cinemas London in August

Season 19 of “Jet Lag: The Game” debuts August 1 at an in-person, ticketed premiere event hosted at Picturehouse Central London and simulcast to select Picturehouse Cinemas locations across the United Kingdom

The Nebula-hosted event, titled “Jet Lag: Live – Japanorama,” will include the world premiere of the first episode of the 19th season, filmed across Japan, as well as a live Q&A with “Jet Lag: The Game” creators and stars Sam Denby, Ben Doyle and Adam Chase, as well as season guest star Tom Scott (“Tom Scott: England”).

One of indie streamer Nebula’s most popular original series, Jet Lag: The Game has shown competitions in Japan, New Zealand, Europe, Australia and North America for its first 18 seasons. Season 19, called “Japanorama,” brings the series back to Japan for “an all-new competition packed with strategic gameplay, travel challenges and unexpected twists that have made ‘Jet Lag’ a global phenomenon,” according to Nebula.

As part of the Picturehouse Central London event, fans will have access to an all-day Jet Lag: The Game: The Pop-Up Shop and a range of other ‘Jet Lag: The Game’ programmes, including a live recording of the companion podcast ‘The Layover’ and audience interactive pub trivia ‘Jet Lag’.

Tickets for the Central London premiere event will be available for pre-sale on June 29 exclusively to current Nebula subscribers who have signed up for event emails. Tickets for the general public go on sale June 30 for the events and the simulcast picturehouses.com/jetlag.

“The first episode of ‘Japanorama’ is one of the most tense season openers we’ve ever had,” Denby said. “We can’t wait to watch with hundreds of viewers in London, and we’re so excited that for the first time, thousands more will be able to watch at the same time in cinemas across the UK.”

“Nebula is thrilled to partner with Picturehouse to bring you the most anticipated theatrical event of the summer,” said Dave Wiskus, Founder and CEO of Nebula.

“We are big fans of ‘Jet Lag: The Game’ at Picturehouse Cinemas and can’t wait to bring the show to the big screen,” said Sam Clements, director of marketing for Picturehouse Cinemas. “The work that Sam, Ben, Adam and the team have created over the years is truly innovative, and cinema can offer creators and their audiences an experience they can’t get from their screens at home. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring people together, and the perfect way to kick off what is sure to be another great season. We’re proud to be part of it.”
