Garth Brooks wants to flee the US for Ireland amid a rape scandal
The civil complaint accuses the Grammy winner of assault and battery. The accuser, identified as “Jane Roe,” claimed to have worked with Brooks as a makeup artist, alleging abuse dating back to 2017.
Roe claimed the country music icon took her to Los Angeles for a Grammy event and only got one hotel suite for the both of them. When she asked for separate accommodation, he would not provide it.
According to the lawsuit, Brooks allegedly accosted her naked in the doorway, dragged her into another room, dangled her upside down by her ankles and raped her.
Brooks is 6 feet tall, while the plaintiff is only 6 feet tall.
The accuser then alleged that the singer repeatedly made sexual comments, even when she said it made her uncomfortable, and alleged that he once made comments in front of his manager and Yearwood.
