The Golden Bachelorette season 1 contestant Pascal Ibgui made it through Halloween, hilariously dressed up as Joan Vassos.

Pascal, 69, took to social media on Sunday, October 27, to share his tribute to the Golden Bachelorette herself, 61, wearing a long blonde wig, figure-hugging gold dress and gold heels. In his hand rose a single golden rose.

“Pascal, will you accept this rose 🌹😉,” the salon owner, who is a father of three, captioned the Instagram after.

Pascal posed on an elaborate staircase in his Chicago salon, Pascal pour Elle, dressed in cobwebs and spiders to take the photo, adding to the festivities.

The light-hearted post comes after Joan confirmed this We weekly ahead of the ABC spinoff’s September 18 premiere that she does indeed find love on the show.

“The trip ended exactly as it should. I feel like I’ve found a lot of love and there are all different types of love,” Joan shared Us in the days just before the show’s launch. “I feel like all these men will be in my life forever. We’ve shared very, very intimate things about our lives and we’re connected. So I think I actually found a lot of love this season.

Joan, a mother of four grown children, revealed this during the October 23 episode The Golden Bachelorette that her native city visits Pascal’s houses, Boy, Jordan And Block left her “confused,” and not feeling “very confident” in some of her last relationships.

Joan added that she had two participants – Guy and Chock – who had been “very committed”, while the other two – Pascal and Jordan – had been “very non-committal, not knowing where their hearts were”.

“I feel less confident now than I did much earlier in this journey,” Joan told the cameras. “I should dive in, I should take that leap of faith that I keep talking about in my head.”

Pascal said during the show’s premiere episode that he hopes to find a partner to live with. “I have made myself a great lifestyle,” Pascal said at the time. “I’m lucky [that] I can travel. I drive the car I want to drive. I buy the clothes I want. I live in a beautiful house. I would like to have a partner with whom I can share my life.”

During his first conversation with Joan in that episode, Pascal pulled out a letter written by his son Maxim. Pascal introduced the message by saying that the note made him feel like he had “done what needed to be done.”

“Dear father, as you begin your new journey, you will receive a tremendous blow,” Pascal read aloud, causing Joan to laugh. ‘I believe in you. You are the greatest father. Thank you for the advice you gave me. You are my rock, I love you and I hope Joan is a good fit for you. Your difficult son.’
