Taylor Swift’s wedding secrets include strict non-disclosure agreements for guests

Taylor Swift is said to have imposed sweeping non-disclosure agreements on guests attending her top-secret wedding to Travis Kelce as the couple attended a heavily guarded ceremony in New York, insiders said. RadarOnline.com is seen as ‘brutally restrictive’.
The 36-year-old pop star and Kelce, also 36, announced their engagement online in August and are now hosting celebrations around Madison Square Garden, after months of speculation about alternative locations, including Swift’s Rhode Island estate.
Preparations have accelerated this week, with police presence, large-scale performances and the arrival of celebrities fueling expectations of a major event surrounding the Independence Day festivities.
City officials, including Mayor Zohran Mamdani, have hinted at the scale of the event, while security measures have been stepped up across the area.
Sources told us that guests, including high-profile friends and family, were required to sign strict non-disclosure agreements before receiving logistical details for the wedding plans.
An insider said: “There’s definitely a sense of excitement among the guests, but it comes with a kind of collective tension because of the tight control over everything. People are aware that the stakes are unusually high, and no one wants to risk being the person who accidentally reveals something and faces the consequences.”
“It has created an atmosphere where everyone is second-guessing what they are saying or doing, and while they are enjoying the moment, there is also a clear feeling that they will be relieved once the whole event is over and the pressure is off.”
Another added, even basic information is strictly controlled, with invitations individually watermarked to prevent leaks.
The emphasis on secrecy has left even close acquaintances unsure of the most important details.
Kelce’s sister-in-law Kylie Kelce previously said on her podcast: “Even if I did have information, I’m not telling you,” insisting she had no knowledge of the plans.
NFL player George Kittle has also described being kept in the dark and said he had joked about being flown to a mysterious location.
Behind the scenes, workers are subject to control measures, including wristbands that track their movements, as crews build intricate set pieces in the arena.
Reports of a grand staircase, landscaping installations and catering deliveries indicate a highly productive environment, while temporary barriers and vehicle placements have been used to block outside views.
Safety considerations are also central to the big day.
Madison Square Garden offers controlled access, limited sight lines and infrastructure suitable for large-scale protection.
Sources say there are expected to be restrictions on phones, strengthening Swift’s ability to control images and information from the event.
One source said the non-disclosure agreements apparently imposed on guests were “standard for celebrity weddings of this size”, but admitted their conditions were “among the strictest ever seen in legal and showbiz circles”.
The strict controls stem from long-standing safety concerns.
Swift has suffered stalking incidents and was hit by a thwarted attack in 2024 that led to canceled shows in Vienna.
It is believed that these experiences informed the planning of the wedding, with organizers prioritizing the containment and traceability of any leaks.
More than 1,000 guests are expected, with performances by Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw.
A rehearsal dinner has already taken place for a smaller group, with the main ceremony and reception taking place late into the night.
Swift has also coordinated additional events for guests traveling to New York, with some costs reportedly covered by the couple.
It has also been confirmed that the couple donated $26 million to charities including food banks and children’s hospitals ahead of the wedding.
