A look inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding: everything we know

As you’ve probably heard, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married on Friday, creating a firestorm of non-stop media attention. If you’re having a hard time keeping up, let this be your guide to the key details of the star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden.
First, the guest list was, according to some reports, over 1,000 names. Variety reported that those who scored a ticket were sent watermarked digital invitations that came with NDAs. Those spotted entering MSG for the bash included Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Jack Antonoff, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Ethan Hawke, MGK, Jason Sudeikis, Hugh Grant and Camila Cabello. Other stars who made more subtle entrances include Anya Taylor-Joy, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Paul McCartney, Sacha Baron Cohen, AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron and former Disney CEO Bob Iger. Harry Styles was invited, but is currently on tour and couldn’t make it. Sources tell Variety that Jennifer Aniston was also invited, but did not attend.
Recently confirmed participants (via People) include Emma Stone, Stephen Colbert, Conan O’Brien, Millie Bobby Brown, Ice Spice, Brad Pitt, Gracie Abrams, Ronan Farrow, St. Vincent, Adam Scott, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Rudd and Seth Meyers.
Well over a dozen sources told it Variety that the guests were ‘flying blind’ with scant details about the wedding’s theme or dress code. Many were told to simply be in New York City the morning of July 3 and await further details.
Last year, Swift explained to TV presenter Graham Norton, who was also at the wedding, that she was “big” with the guest list to avoid awkward omissions.
“I’m so excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount of money and people are in the bubble,” Swift said on “The Graham Norton Show‘ in October 2025. ‘And you need to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not going to do that.”
A source confirmed this Variety that Mark Seed served as wedding planner.
The day after the ceremony, photos of an ivory handkerchief embroidered with lace circulated online distributed to the wedding guests. In the center of the cloth was a stitched monogram of Swift and Kelce’s first initials, and below that was the text: “So it’s going to be forever…” from Swift’s 2014 hit “Blank Space.” The handkerchief also included the date “July 3, 2026” and the wedding location “New York City.”
Thanks to a since-deleted X-post from AMC CEO Aron, we now have a better idea of what actually happened inside MSG. He wrote in the post, “It didn’t look like Madison Square Garden. Immediately upon entering, everything…floors, walls, ceiling…was draped in peach and white. Large blown-up images of Taylor and Travis at every age, year after year, from one year old to late teens, were on display.”
He continued, “A small section of MSG was cordoned off, with no idea that a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space. Somehow someone magically created an outdoor garden in a lush country retreat. Everything draped this time in green and white. Real flowers and I think artificial three welcomed fifteen rows of perhaps 75 chairs. They say there were about a thousand people in attendance, but surprisingly it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close.”
Adam Sandler served as officiant, according to a press release obtained in the minutes after the ceremony. TMZ reported that he sang an original song for the newlyweds. At the same time Swift and Kelce said, “Yes, I do,” digital billboards outside MSG were broadcast to the world that read, “JUST&T MARRIED!”
The press release with the post ‘I do’ also revealed several other details about the ceremony and the look of the wedding day.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks were created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They were designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the bride and groom,” the release said. It added: “Taylor & Travis had no bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’s best man. The ceremony brought both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
“Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts confirmed as much Saturday morning Stevie Nicks performed at the weddingand described the in-person concert as “very intimate.” Co-host George Stephanopoulos added, “It was as intimate as it could possibly be, considering it was Madison Square Garden. It was really this garden within the garden that was so beautiful. It’s hard to imagine that such a big place, and a wedding with such stars, could feel so personal and so intimate.”
In the days leading up to the wedding, Swift and Kelce donated $26 million to at least two dozen charities. Some of the organizations they have donated to include the Food Bank for NYC, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Feeding America, Grammy In The Schools, Answer The Call, Musical Mentors, After-School All-Stars, and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
