Czech AI startup Flae Robotics expands into Germany and Austria after launching in the UK | News

Czech technology startup Flae Robotics, the company behind AI receptionist BE-A, is accelerating its European expansion with its entry into Germany and Austria. The move follows successful implementations in Czech hotels and a recent launch in the UK, as the company sets its sights on the hospitality market in the DACH region.

BE-A is a front office operating system for modern hotels. The AI platform automates routine guest communications and front office workflows – from guest questions and requests to reservations and communications via email, WhatsApp and voice – and is available 24/7 in more than 100 languages. It can be integrated with hotel systems such as PMS, booking systems and channel managers.

In Czech hotels, BE-A has already proven its ability to significantly relieve the burden on front office teams, handling up to 85% of routine guest requests. This allows staff to concentrate on personal guest care, complex situations and the smooth running of hotel operations. The DACH region represents the company’s next strategic step as hotels face increasing pressure to improve efficiencies, manage workforce challenges and meet rising guest expectations.

The company’s expansion in the region will be led by Alexander Zawadzki, who joins Flae Robotics as Business Development Manager for Germany and Austria. In his new role, he will focus on developing new business opportunities in the hospitality industry, building relationships with hotel groups, technology partners and other key stakeholders, and supporting the company’s sales strategy in the wider DACH region.

Alexander brings more than eight years of experience in PMS technology and hotel booking platform sales. He has worked closely with hotels, technology partners and corporate clients to implement solutions that improve the guest experience and streamline operations, giving him a deep understanding of the industry’s challenges. His background includes commercial and business development roles in both hospitality and technology.

The expansion into Germany and Austria comes as hotels across Europe struggle with staff shortages, rising operational costs and ever-increasing guest expectations. In the highly competitive and operationally complex DACH market, Flae Robotics positions AI not as a replacement for human interaction, but as a tool that frees teams from repetitive tasks and allows staff to focus on the moments when the human touch has the greatest impact.

Filip Linek, founder and CEO of Flae Robotics, said: “Germany and Austria are an important next step for us. The DACH region is a demanding market where hotels carefully assess new technology based on its operational value. That is exactly why we believe BE-A has strong potential in this environment. Alexander’s experience with PMS technology, hotel booking platforms and hospitality sales will be key to our growth in the region.”

Alexander Zawadzki, Business Development Manager for Germany and Austria at Flae Robotics, said: “Hotels in Germany and Austria are facing the same challenges as the rest of Europe: staff shortages, pressure to increase efficiency and ever-increasing guest expectations. AI can fundamentally change the way front office teams work – not by replacing human services, but by eliminating repetitive workloads and allowing people to focus on real guest care. I am happy to help introduce BE-A to hotels in the DACH region.”
