SAINT LUCIA AND ARSENAL SIGN MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP | News

The Tourism Authority of Saint Lucia (SLTA) today announced a new multi-year global partnership with Premier League and Champions Cup winners Arsenal Football Club as the official destination partner.
The agreement will take effect at the start of the 2026/27 season and aims to give Saint Lucia significant global exposure, including in the United Kingdom, one of the island’s key tourism markets.
Arsenal Football Club has one of the largest global fan bases in the world, with millions of supporters. As Saint Lucia looks to increase visitor numbers and bring the country’s beauty and culture to more people around the world, the official partnership means exposure to this network of receptive supporters to introduce them to Saint Lucia and ultimately generate economic benefits for the island’s tourism sector.
Saint Lucia is a small island in the eastern Caribbean with a population of approximately 180,500. It is known for its striking landscape of lush rainforests, volcanic mountains and golden beaches with plenty to see and do, thanks to its rich heritage and culture.
In addition to tourism, the agreement also supports the development of an Academy Hub in Saint Lucia, creating mentorship and pathways for young players to develop their talent and reach their full potential, creating a sense of pride and belonging.

That’s what Dr said. Ernest Hilaire, Minister of Tourism, Trade, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Heritage of Saint Lucia; “We are entering an exciting term as Arsenal’s Official Destination Partner, joining a club with a loyal, global supporter base. As Premier League and Champions Cup champions, Arsenal start the new season with momentum, as Saint Lucia continues to record strong attendance figures. This partnership is founded on shared values of social responsibility, resilience and sustainability, reflected both in Arsenal’s work with its supporters and community, and in our commitment to our people. We look forward to Saint Lucia’s vibrant culture, dynamic events calendar and natural beauty to show Arsenal supporters worldwide.”

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer of Arsenal Football Club, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Saint Lucia, a world-renowned destination with a rich history and culture, which shares our values of community and an ever-forward-thinking mentality. We want every Gooner, whether they live in Islington or Saint Lucia, whether they have supported us for fifty years or five years, to feel and see themselves in our club. This is an exciting partnership that gives us this opportunity and will help fuel our ambitions of growth and success.”

As part of the partnership, Saint Lucia will benefit from brand visibility at the Emirates Stadium, in the Premier League, Women’s Super League and cup matches reaching millions of people worldwide, as well as visibility across Arsenal’s digital platforms and channels.
The partnership also includes exciting joint marketing campaigns, supporter engagement initiatives and international promotions, further amplifying the island’s ‘Let Her Inspire You’ campaign through both the premier men’s and women’s teams.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has a strong track record of leveraging major sports partnerships, including collaborations with the New York Yankees, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs and Brooklyn Nets. As Saint Lucia expands its sports tourism offering and continues to attract international teams and athletes, the Arsenal partnership further strengthens its growing portfolio of football, cricket, rugby and swimming events.
