Club Med included in the prestigious TIME100 list of most influential companies of 2026 | News

Club Med has officially been named to the TIME100 list of Most Influential Companies of 2026, marking the first time the global all-inclusive pioneer has received this global accolade. Listed in the Innovators category, Club Med is recognized for successfully transforming the traditional all-inclusive travel sector into a highly advanced, premium global offering that includes sun, ski and unexpected new adventure destinations.

The annual TIME100 Most Influential Companies List highlights 100 exceptional companies that are actively shaping global industry standards. To compile the annual list, TIME solicits nominations from various industries and polls its global network of contributors, correspondents and outside experts. TIME editors then rate each company on key metrics, including impact, innovation, ambition and success.

This prestigious recognition underlines Club Med’s successful strategic evolution and celebrates its position as a global leader that seamlessly combines high-quality hospitality innovation with environmental and social responsibility.

Originally founded in 1950 and once synonymous with simple beach holidays, Club Med has undergone a highly successful luxury transformation over the past twenty years. By reducing its mid-range portfolio, the French hospitality giant has shifted its entire focus to premium and luxury properties. Much of this strategic shift includes complex geographic categories such as mountain resorts, including lift tickets, equipment, ski lessons and restaurants, which now represent approximately 35% of Club Med’s global business across more than 20 resorts in the Alps, Japan, China and North America.

“To be recognized by TIME as a global force of influence is an incredible honor for Club Med,” said Rachael Harding, CEO of Club Med East South Asia and Pacific. “It celebrates our mission to push the boundaries of all-inclusive travel. Thanks to our teams around the world, we have successfully developed the brand. As we expand into new regional destinations, we are demonstrating how premium tourism can responsibly shape the future of travel by protecting the environment and supporting local communities while providing seamless, curated and authentic connections for our guests.”

The recognition comes during a period of tremendous global growth for the brand. Club Med welcomes nearly 1.5 million guests to nearly 70 resorts and continues to diversify its offering. Key upcoming milestones include the highly anticipated 2026 launch of the first ever resort in South Africa, a unique beach and safari concept on the Dolphin Coast alongside a brand new resort in Borneo, Malaysia and Manado, Indonesia, and a new Exclusive Collection resort in Koh Samui, Thailand.

As the only hotel and resort brand to be included on this year’s list, Club Med’s inclusion reinforces the brand’s continued relevance, modern innovation and strength more than 75 years after its founding.
