Rosewood Introduces “The Spirit of Celebration” | News

This summer, Rosewood introduces The Spirit of Celebration, a global program designed to bring people together through sports, travel and shared experiences. Inspired by the energy and sense of community surrounding football culture, the initiative is anchored by an exclusive limited-edition jersey created in collaboration with British artist and sportswear designer Christian Jeffery, alongside hotel activations and curated regional routes.

With a background spanning fine art and technical sportswear design, Christian Jeffery collaborated with Rosewood on a unique, hand-painted football jersey and artwork, inspired by the brand’s new visual identity and the spirit of various Rosewood destinations. The design has been adapted into limited edition Rosewood jerseys and will be available for purchase this summer as part of the brand’s Summer Essentials retail collection and worn by the Rosewood community around the world.

“At Rosewood, we are always interested in the cultural moments that bring people together, and The Spirit of Celebration reflects that. Christian Jeffery brought a thoughtful perspective to the project, drawing inspiration from the visual language of football culture through a distinct Rosewood lens.”

The sweater features custom details inspired by properties and destinations across the portfolio, including rosette motifs based on the architectural millwork of Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and oak leaves honoring the iconic Menlo Park landscape surrounding Rosewood Sand Hill. A custom emblem inspired by The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, serves as the centerpiece of the design, featuring cherry blossoms from Vancouver, roses from New York and orchids sourced from Nayarit, Mexico.

“The jersey is inspired by ideas of heritage and place – combining my background in sports design with Rosewood’s philosophy of innovative luxury, the fabric of its wealthy communities and the distinctive design identities of its properties across America. My vision was to combine the beauty of football culture with Rosewood’s unique natural landscapes to create a design with layers of stories to discover.”
CHRISTIAN JEFFERY, ARTIST AND SPORTSWEAR DESIGNER

Whether guests want to step into the energy of the games or soak up the excitement from afar, Rosewood properties will serve as vibrant hubs of culture, style and community this summer. From high-design pop-ups to bespoke competition displays and interactive culinary events, these activations channel the vibrancy of the season and invite guests to celebrate the spirit of togetherness as much as the game itself. Seasonal events include:

Open-air viewing areas and communal watch parties
Rosewood properties are transforming their outdoor spaces into outdoor theaters. From the lush lawn of Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid, to the courtyards of Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel and Rosewood Amsterdam, to immersive screening and tasting menu experiences at Taraz, the vibrant heart of Rosewood São Paulo, guests can participate in lively viewing parties, complete with curated menus and a spirited atmosphere that echoes through every city.

Epicurean acquisitions and cultural explorations
Shared moments of sensory immersion come to life through unexpected culinary pop-ups, hands-on experiences and masterclasses. Rosewood Hong Kong honors the season with a poolside takeover at Asaya Spa, highlighting the color Discovery Green, while Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort welcomes beachside mixology residences with Julie Reiner. Creative cocktail menus provide lively on-site gatherings in major cities. At Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, a new menu commemorating football icons will be presented in the Mansion Bar, paired with custom, hand-drawn art depicting historic players, and at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, a summer drinks menu will be unveiled in Reflections The Garden Terrace, based on flavors from the seven locally competing countries.

Shared rituals and natural discoveries
This summer, Rosewood properties are introducing natural excursions and remedies that promote a shared sense of recovery. Based on the therapeutic traditions of Oaxaca, the Mezcal Four Hands Spa Ritual at Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort recasts mezcal from spirit to a medicinal ‘elixir’. At Rosewood Miramar Beach, guests can discover MOODS, a new signature aromatherapy fragrance journey to truly take the spa experience to the next level. For deeper outdoor explorations, Rosewood Mayakoba offers private whale shark expeditions, while Rosewood Mandarina participates in sea turtle conservation rituals at sunset.

For those looking for a deeper connection to regional travel, Guided by Rosewood is a new itinerary series designed to immerse guests in local culture.

Spanning Mexico, Southeast Asia, Austria and Bavaria, the multi-destination tours highlight the distinctive traditions and hidden viewpoints that define a region’s character, positioning each Rosewood property as a gateway to the community and a platform for true connection.
