OneReg Appoints Aviation Leader Billie Moore to Lead Global Government Affairs and Regulation | News

OneReg, the compliance and regulatory assurance platform used by airports and airlines worldwide, has appointed Billie Moore, currently Chief Executive of the New Zealand Airports Association, to a new role as Chief Regulatory and Industry Engagement Officer, focused on government affairs, regulatory relations and public policy across its markets.

The appointment follows OneReg’s oversubscribed USD 4.5 million Series A round, as the company accelerates its international expansion and deepens collaboration with regulators and public sector partners.

As CEO of the New Zealand Airports Association, Moore has represented the operators of 49 airports across the country and works closely with government, regulators and industry leaders to support a safe, sustainable and resilient aviation network. A former diplomat, she served as adviser on foreign affairs, trade and politics to four New Zealand ministers, as New Zealand’s consul general for New South Wales and Queensland, and as principal adviser at the Ministry of the Environment. She also led government relations for Tourism New Zealand.

“Billie is one of the most respected voices in aviation and public policy in Asia Pacific,” said Clinton Cardozo, CEO and co-founder of OneReg. “Her appointment strengthens our work with regulators as we scale internationally and build on the momentum of our recent capital raise. Billie’s experience at the intersection of government, regulation and industry will help accelerate the shift to real-time, risk-based supervision and ensure we continue to deliver technology that supports the entire aviation sector.”

Moore said the decision to join OneReg reflects where she believes she can have the greatest impact on the future of aviation.

“I have spent many years navigating government policy and supporting a thriving aviation industry,” said Moore. “What drew me to OneReg is the opportunity to make a more direct impact; the platform is driving momentum in regulatory technology in a way the industry has been talking about for years. The team is deeply committed and the product fits right into the pressure points facing airports, airlines and regulators. This role gives me the space to focus on the issues that matter most and help build a stronger, more connected aviation ecosystem.”

Moore will begin her new role in August. Based in New Zealand, she will spend significant time on the ground with regulators and industry partners in each of OneReg’s markets.
