Introducing the new Greek Aegean escape from MGallery Hotel Collection | News

MGallery Hotel Collection, a distinctive portfolio of legendary hotels within the Accor Group, invites guests to a new Greek retreat, Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos – MGallery Collection. This opening signifies MGallery Collection’s commitment to offering intimate sanctuaries in the world’s most fascinating destinations, providing a strategic foothold in Mykonos’ booming luxury market. The property reveals a more intimate side of Mykonos, with a sun-drenched private beach and the tranquil rhythm of the Cyclades.

Located between Ornos and Korfos, the 35-room property enjoys a rare location between two of Mykonos’ most emblematic coastlines. On the one hand, Ornos offers calm, sheltered waters ideal for swimming; on the other hand, Korfos is shaped by wind and movement, known for its open horizon and dynamic energy. This duality defines the experience at Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos – MGallery Collection. Being just minutes from Mykonos Town, the hotel adopts a calmer rhythm, focusing on privacy, light and a more considered sense of retreat.

Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery Collection & Emblems said: “The launch of Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos – MGallery Collection is an important milestone for us, not only in expanding our footprint in Greece, but in deepening our commitment to authentic, story-driven hospitality. This property perfectly embodies MGallery Collection’s ethos of celebrating the uniqueness of its destination, and we are incredibly proud to partner with the family Daktylides, who have seamlessly blended heritage and genuine passion for over 45 years. Their deep knowledge of Mykonian culture and commitment to exceptional service is invaluable and ensures that Kove Mykonos offers a truly immersive and heartfelt experience.”

A Myconian legacy

Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos is part of the Daktylides family’s longstanding presence on the island, a hospitality journey that began in 1979 with a modest bed and breakfast founded by George and Elefteria Daktylides. Over the past decades, the family has played a defining role in the evolution of Mykonos as an international destination, steadily building a portfolio of hotels that combine scale with a strong sense of identity.

Today, the new generation continues to shape that legacy by combining deep local knowledge with a forward-looking approach to hospitality.

Marios Daktylides, General Manager at Myconian K Hotels said: “Kove reflects a more personal way of experiencing Mykonos, one that is quieter, more intuitive and intimately connected to the island itself. By joining MGallery Collection we can share that perspective more broadly, while retaining the character and sense of place that has always defined what we do.”

Private mornings on the Aegean Sea

With 35 rooms and suites, the property is designed with a residential feel that adapts to different travel styles. The more compact rooms take a minimalist approach, suitable for guests who spend their days exploring the sea, pool and island, while larger suites extend to generous terraces with private Jacuzzis or plunge pools.

The experience naturally appeals to a diverse, international clientele, from cosmopolitan travelers and luxury seekers to beach lovers, couples, honeymooners and families with adolescents. The layout allows for both shared moments and privacy, making it suitable for quiet escapes as well as more social stays.

Dining unfolds with a focus on seasonality and place. At eNa, the hotel’s signature restaurant, menus are shaped by daily sourcing and a philosophy of simplicity, often centered around fresh catch and ingredients from the surrounding region. The roof terrace, with views of both Ornos and Korfos, becomes a natural gathering point throughout the day, especially at sunset, when the changing Aegean light sets the mood.

Wellbeing is centered around the Cave Spa, a secluded, stone-carved environment designed for silence and recovery. Wellness treatments are based on natural elements and traditional techniques, complemented by outdoor areas for yoga and meditation.

First light of Delos

Each MGallery Collection hotel invites guests to capture the signature M Moment: a meaningful and memorable experience designed to spark curiosity and expand the mind and soul.

Before Mykonos gets moving, guests are invited to take a private morning cruise to Delos, the sacred birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. From the nearby quay, the boat glides across a gold-washed Aegean Sea. Guided by a private historian, guests can explore the island’s silent ruins before the first visitors arrive. As the sunrise hits the Terrace of the Lions, ancient stones awaken in radiant light. A Cycladic breakfast awaits you by the sea: fresh bread, island honey, seasonal fruit and local delicacies. A rare encounter where myth, history and the serenity of the Aegean Sea become one.

Guests staying at MGallery have access to ALL Accor, a booking platform and loyalty program that offers a range of rewards, services and experiences during and after every stay. Opening rates start from EUR 272 per room, per night, and bookings are available now on all.com.
