voco brand continues growth momentum with new signing of Phuket | News

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, today announced a management agreement with Phuket HA 2 Co., Ltd, a leading real estate developer in Thailand for voco Phuket Patong. This agreement marks the brand’s rapid expansion in Thailand following the brand’s debut in Bangkok last year, and four contracts are planned to be signed in quick succession.

The newly built 307-room voco Phuket Patong will open in 2028 and will be located in the Abov Patong mixed-use development, a landmark that includes hotels, branded residences and extensive facilities including a clubhouse, theater, multi-zone swimming pools and kids’ club on Patong Hill in Phuket.

It is also within easy reach by car of other tourist destinations such as Karon, Kata and Kamala beaches.

The signing strengthens IHG’s scale in Thailand, where the company now has more than 80 open and signed hotels across the country, and builds on the momentum of voco hotels with the opening of four additional properties in Bangkok and Phuket.
