Holland America Line has opened bookings for the 2028 Grand Voyages.
There are two itineraries available: a 129-day circumnavigation of the world on the Grand World Voyage, and a 90-day Grand Australia & New Zealand Voyage.
The Grand World Voyage will depart on January 4, 2028, round-trip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Volendam. Prices start from £23,999 pp
It includes a four-day Antarctic Experience, including scenic cruises and onboard programming, in addition to cruises through South America’s Chilean Fjords, Glacier Alley and the Beagle Channel. Calls to Easter Island and a sailing trip past Null Island, where the prime meridian and the equator intersect at 0°N, 0°E, are also possible.
The Grand Australia & New Zealand Voyage will depart on January 30, 2028, round-trip from San Diego, California to Zaandam. Prices start from £16,499pp
It offers extensive exploration of the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia, including a visit to Bora Bora. This is the first time that Holland America Line’s two Grand Voyages will visit the port in the same season.
Highlights of the Grand World Voyage
* Visits 45 ports in 26 countries and territories across six continents.
* Travels through the Caribbean and South America en route to Antarctica, followed by scenic cruises in the Beagle Channel, Glacier Alley and the Chilean Fjords.
* Crosses the equator on the way to Easter Island, then continues through the South Pacific and French Polynesia, including Bora Bora.
* Spends eight days exploring six ports in New Zealand before continuing through Australia, Southeast Asia and Sri Lanka.
* Round the Cape of Good Hope and sail along the west coast of Africa before crossing the Atlantic Ocean back to Fort Lauderdale.
* Access to 31 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Valparaíso, Chile; Komodo National Park on Komodo Island; and the Taj Mahal in India.
* A four-day Antarctic Experience, eight days in New Zealand, a longer period in Cape Town, two crossings along the equator and a sailing trip along Null Island.

* Calls at 41 ports in 12 countries and territories on two continents.
* Sails west through Hawaii and the South Pacific, crossing the International Date Line en route to New Zealand.
*Continue your journey through Australia before returning via Melanesia, Fiji, Samoa and French Polynesia, with an extended stay in Bora Bora.
* Access to 13 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and New Zealand’s Tongariro National Park.
* Nighttime conversations in Hobart, Tasmania; Sydney, Cairns and Fremantle (Perth), Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; and Papeete, French Polynesia.
Shore excursions on the Grand World Voyage include a multi-day safari, flying from Durban to Johannesburg, South Africa, for an overnight stay before continuing to Hoedspruit. From there, guests travel to Thornybush Game Lodge, a five-star resort in Big Five country bordering Kruger National Park, with sunrise and sunset game drives.

On the Grand Australia & New Zealand Voyage, guests can visit the Margaret River region of Western Australia, featuring the Busselton Jetty and Underwater Observatory and the Cape Naturaliste coastline, vineyard tastings and an underground Lake Cave experience.
Each Grand Voyage offers an enhanced onboard experience, including enrichment programs, regional cultural artists and special guest headliners. Evening entertainment includes gala balls, chic evenings and the Captain’s Grand Voyage Dinner.
