Qatar Airways Group today announced post-tax profits of QAR7.08 billion (US$1.94 billion) for the 2025/26 financial year. The results demonstrate a robust performance against a final month impacted by key geopolitical events, reaffirming the company’s position as one of the most resilient groups in global aviation.

Throughout the 2025/26 financial year, the Group continued to develop, innovate and deliver world-class services and experiences to passengers and businesses. The 2025/26 annual report can be found here: https://www.qatarairways.com/press-releases/en-WW/pages/2026-annual-report/

The airline carried more than 41.8 million passengers and maintained extensive global connectivity through Hamad International Airport. The Group’s cargo division continued to excel, with more than 1.43 million tonnes of loadable weight, strengthening its position as the world’s largest air freight carrier with a global market share of 12%.

The airline also maintained industry-leading punctuality, with an on-time performance of 86%, placing it firmly among the top five most punctual airlines in the world and earning the most coveted recognition in global aviation operations benchmarking: the Cirium Platinum Award for Operational Excellence.

The Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Group, Mr. Hamad Al-Khater, said: “It is not often that in a single financial year an organization is asked to demonstrate both the best of what it can achieve and the depth of what it can withstand. The 2025/26 financial year did both, and Qatar Airways Group in turn rose to both.

“These results demonstrate the strength of this Group in all the areas that matter: a strong balance sheet, industry-leading operations, partnerships with real depth and people who have maintained the standards for which this Group is known, even under the most demanding circumstances.

“Behind every result are 57,800 people, working in more than 90 countries. In the last weeks of the financial year, many of them have weathered an active crisis with a standard of professionalism that defines this organization as much as any financial benchmark, and that deserves recognition.

“We are actively rebuilding our global network with the confidence that comes from a balance sheet that has never been stronger, partnerships that have proven their depth when we needed them most, and an organization that, under real pressure, has shown exactly what it is capable of.”
