D4vd got his start in the music industry by using his songs in his Fortnite gameplay videos in 2021.

“The first song I made was Run awaya super slow song where I was just trying to figure out my sound,” he revealed VMAN. ‘And then I made You and I, that’s the first song I ever put into a montage. It was just for editing, I didn’t expect much from it. But then people started using it in their edits and I thought, ‘Okay, this could be something,’ so I kept making songs.”

In the years that followed, he released hit singles, including Run away, Romantic murder, Here with me, And My house is not a homeamong others.

In April 2025 he released his debut album, Withered.

“I feel like my music can be seen as me talking to someone, or me talking to myself,” he shared Atwood in 2025. “It’s a love-hate relationship between the mindset I have, like how my brain changes or the evolution of my personality, and how I grow and mature. It’s like I grow out of certain things and approach situations differently.”
