Viking opens bookings for expedition trips 2028–2029 | News

Viking® (www.viking.com) has announced that its 2028-2029 expedition trips are now available for booking, with newly released departure dates on the company’s most popular routes in the Arctic, Antarctica and Great Lakes. Designed for immersive explorations in some of the world’s most remote areas, the extensive offering includes additional sailings of Viking’s epic Longitudinal World Cruises, which travel between the Great Lakes and Antarctica, as well as the unique Into the Antarctic Circle itinerary, which offers guests the rare opportunity to cross the latitude of 66°33′ into the Antarctic Circle – an honorable milestone among polar explorers.

“Our guests are curious travelers looking for meaningful experiences and a deeper connection with the destinations they visit,” said Torstein Hagen, chairman and CEO of Viking. “Our expedition trips are designed to bring them closer to the natural world through immersive exploration and discovery, alongside scientists and destination experts. We’re excited to offer even more options in the years to come.”
