Nestled within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort attracts guests seeking an immersive stay surrounded by dramatic natural landscapes, cultural significance and the rare opportunity to experience one of China’s most pristine destinations. The resort aims to reduce its impact on the environment by using clean energy solutions while investing in the economic independence of local residents. The property’s operations generate zero carbon emissions thanks to an investment in a hot water boiler renovation, eliminating 880 cubic meters of daily natural gas consumption and generating RMB 1.4 million (approximately $200,000 USD) in annualized cost savings. The resort’s ‘Xi Ai Home’ initiative supports more than 120 local community members with disabilities and supports more than RMB 200,000 (nearly $30,000) in craft sales. By integrating sustainability efforts with first-class service, the resort contributes to the protection of the Jiuzhaigou Valley’s crucial ecosystem and cultural heritage.

Providing a luxurious experience for guests looking for a unique stay on the Aegean Sea, Susona Bodrum runs on 100 percent renewable energy and uses solar energy to power the entire property and heat hot water. The property is one of the few hotels in Hilton’s portfolio to meet its entire water demand by using a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, while reclaimed water is used for all landscape irrigation. In addition to being recognized by Hilton, the property has several independent sustainability certifications, including Zero Waste, Green Star and Blue Flag.
When guests check into The Harpeth Franklin Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton, they step into a refined, locally rooted experience that combines Southern charm, walkable access to downtown and carefully curated hospitality. What they may not recognize are the practices the hotel team implements behind the scenes to promote a more sustainable stay. The property eliminates single-use plastics, offers water refill stations on every floor to reduce bottle use, and operates with 100% LED lighting, while further promoting sustainability through electric vehicle charging, food donation and composting programs.
